Today was just a regular typical day. Nothing really important. At PCI today, we just baked off a crapload of nasty High Ratio Cakes, It's basically cakes with Shortening, flour, eggs, etc. Obviously, it's inedible, if you eat it, plus the icing, you'll go crazy! Shortening is so gross...
     I spent some time with my Babe today, he's so sweet, he made us Mac and Cheese and some Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Yum! Then we decided to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It's so funny! I thought it was a pretty good movie/chick flick. Lol.
     It's the beginning of the wedding cake section! Yesh! What to do for my design...

     Today was a good day, NAY, a great day! It started off at De Anza, I took my rightful spot next to Patty's car and gave her a call. I then switched over to her car and we decided to skip class, since she was sick and all. Patty then drove us somewhere asiany and we walked around outside, unfortunately, nothing was open and Patty was thirsty. That was when I spotted Starbucks across the street. We made our way over and I ordered a drink. The barista who took my order was pretty funny and cute. Our convo:

Barista: Hey welcome to Sturbucks!
Me: Hey, can I get a Cafee Mocha?
Barista: No :]
Me: Oh.. Well I want it anyways.
Barista: Ohh, I like you already!

     That was basically our convo, Patty was like, "OMG! He's so cute!" Haha.  I only have a coffee sleeve to remind me of this day. Funny funny, too bad I'm dating Blake! (I love you babe!) Patty and I stayed at Starbucks for a while just talking and stuff, then we decided to go back to her place and watch The Hangover while eating Top Ramen. Good day.
     PCI was alright today, we had final today, I messed up on my souffle the first time, but the second was ten times better. I got a 10/10! With plating, it was alright, 8/10? Lol.
     After class, I went over to Blake's for a little, we chatted about our day, then I left to go to Pizza Night. Fun day, we all were kind of tired but it was still good. Pizza night is definitely something I look forward to every week. It's the main point in the week where I meet up with the Darren, Alan, and everyone else and we just bond and tell jokes and stories. That's the moment we're just ourselves and we act like the usual obnoxious teens in the movies. I love pizza night.
     So, when I got home, I began to blog, then I got a random phone call from a restricted number. At first I didn't recognize the voice, but then it was the guy from Starbucks! LOL! Jkjk, noo it wasn't, but guess who it was?
     Axell. Super random right? He apologized for everything that happened and I was kinda like "Why are you apologizing? We're both at fault here". In the end, we had an hour long convo talking about everything that's happened and just reminiscing about the past. Oh how I missed those times we shared. Axell and I have been through a lot and I thought that if we cut connections, everything will be better, unfortunately, that isn't the case. I've truly missed him and I'm glad that of all days, he chose today to call me. Today is quite an amazing day, I knew from the beginning that it was going to be spectacular, and spectacular it has been. Just a coffee sleeve to remind me of this day.

     Not much happened, I made a cake for my uncle and took my cousins to Chinese school. That was mainly my day
     Today:
     Astro test! Pretty easy because of that test review. French was kinda boring of course. After, I went to Blake's pad and we watched a few episodes of HIMYM. Then I went to class. Not much happened, just prepped for our final.
     After class, I took Remi to the library and checked her homework. It kinda just lasted for about 20 minutes. We just chilled at the library, then I took her to Jamba Juice and had potatoe wedges. Then we went home and stayed there till Remi and Wayne's mom picked them up. Bittersweet goodbye.
     Alright, I'm really tired now and I can't focus. Night!!!

     I'm surprised at myself; I got a lot done in the little time I had. First off, I took and picked up Brandon from Boyscouts. In that period of rest, I took my Grandma's to Oceans and took them home. Then, I went to pick up Blake so he could go with me to Smart & Final. I didn't find anything that I needed, unfortunately, but it's alright, we ended up going to Sur La Table where I bought parchment circles and a cake ring. As I got home, I was about to start baking, but my grandma's were home. That was basically the end of my Productive day. Although I woke up early, I was pretty tired, but staying out kept me awake, sort of, and I actually went out and bought the things I needed to get.
     The Office is getting really good! Michael is still friken stupid though...

     It's like driving down a road with only a certain amount of road visible from your headlights; even though you can only see that bit, you follow your gut and continue to drive on it, hoping to not crash and putting in all of your focus to lead you to your destination because all you need to do is follow and commit to that road, and it will lead you anywhere.
     That was the task that the hobby class had to do today. A company decided to tests students from Santa Clara University to see if they were capable of follow directions with just a page of directions and the raw materials in front of them. They were not allowed help from any of the chefs unless they gave up a "chef card". Why do this? Because these students were potential candidates for them to hire, it was also a test to see who would step up to the plate and lead a group.
     I laughed as I watched my group make pizza. Tearing the dough with their hands and failing miserably on stretching out the dough. I helped them of course, for a sweet price of one chef card, after they got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing for them. It really showed their creativity too. At first, they were on shaky grounds, but they started to shape their pizzas, make a giant calzone and even do a deep dish, meat lovers style.
     After class, Nancy, Lynn and I met up at Elephant Bar with one of Nancy's friends. We just had appetizers and talked about life and our future plans. Nancy's friend was extremely knowledgeable and inspirational; he has great insight on life because of all the hardships he has gone through. What an amazing asian man!
     I got home around 9:30PM and I talked to my mom for a bit. It's slowly getting there. I just told her why I came home late, she also told me to make my uncle a cake for his birthday. I'm hoping to make the cake and glaze it. I need to go shopping first though...
     Long day, pretty tired, and just talking to my babe. The perfect thing to end a long and tiring day.

p.s, I finally took that friken ServSafe test!!! I hope I passed because I'm tossing all those papers away.

     It's interesting on how a second could change everything. Because I left the house at that exact time, and because I decided to go in the carpool lane in that exact moment, I got that exact parking spot. What's so great about the parking spot? It was right next to Patty's car. A second too late means that someone could've taken that spot. A second too early means that Patty might not have been there. But it was timed just perfectly. Look at it this way, if I didn't park next to Patty, she wouldn't have called me and I wouldn't have switched cars to sit in hers. Therefore, I would've walked alone to class, waited outside of Patty's class, which she didn't go to, and assumed she didn't make it to school today. Which also means that I would've sat alone in Astro today. But good thing none of that happened!
     After De Anza, I went straight to school, bumped into Amanda, and was ABOUT to take my ServSafe test when... What do you know? It hasn't been mailed yet! FML! Lol. Oh well. One more day to "study"! As I left, Amanda asked to borrow money (approximately $200) so she can help out that douchebag that's using her. In my head, I was like "FUCK NO! I'm not gonna help out that asshole. I'll never get my money back!" But I told her that I didn't have any cash on me. Who carries $200 on them?
     Long story short, as I get back to the apartment, Blake wasn't there, so I ended up making food and watching I Am Legend. He came back, we watched some more I Am Legend. Went to school.
     We made Souffle today! I had to do it twice since I messed up the first time. Not much happened...
     Blake picked my up after class and I chilled at the appartment with Em and Blake for a little, then I left to run some errands. Now, I'm at home and craving some eggs, specifically the yolk. Yum!!

     If only it could be plaid... As I was walking to my class at De Anza, I thought about how awesome it would be to walk up to a person that was misfortunate and share my umbrella with them. But... I didn't find anyone that was walking my way. Maybe tomorrow? I need to build up my karma points... and my network.
     Oh how I love to walk around in the rain. If only I had rainboots to complete this endless bliss. I found that it doesn't matter if my socks and shoes are wet, if I blast the heater on towards my feet in the car, it'll dry it up! nice and toasty! Hehe.
     I spent some time with Blake, before PCI. I was trying to take a nap until this extremely loud thunderstorm boomed down! It set off my car alarm! It was pretty hilarious.
     We made Tiramisu and Hazelnut Daquoise in class today. We'll get it tomorrow! Ew.. I despise Gelatin! Bleh.. Some girl in the new culinary class fainted today, you know what they say, "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen." Lol, jk... No really.
     After class, I had pizza for the 3rd night in a row with Em and Blake. Yum! Lovin` Pizza Hut! We hung out for a bit, played some scene it, and I sparred Blake. I won of course. White guys can't spar, it's hilarious!! Love! After a while of me talking nonsense because I was sleepy, I went home.
     So now I'm at home. I've been on the PC for quite a while now... I should go now because it's getting late (11:42PM)... Night loves!

     After a day of doing almost nothing, besides watching The Office and cleaning my sister's car, I went over to my cousins house for dinner. By the time I arrived, my cousins and brothers already left to go to another cousin's house... So I stuck around for a bit and had dinner, then ventured my way over to Blake's pad.
     When I got there, it was just him and me... and of course Kira. We ended up watching Robin Hood, Men In Tights. Super funny movie. Then Kira put in another movie; The Princess Bride, I must say it's one of the best, but not a favorite. Then, she put in ANOTHER movie, a movie that Blake didn't like, it doesn't matter what the title is because we then decided to not watch that movie and we relocated ourselves. Let's just say that in the middle, Kira just starts bursting out in song and her voice is not something you'd like to hear. Eventually though, Sky and Em came home and we just locked ourselves in the room, talking, laughing, and sharing stories. 
     Today was an unexpected day for me. I didn't expect to go see Blake, but I went anyways. Fun day.

     Last day of ServSafe! I have to take the test on tuesday so I can be officially Certified now! Lol. Yesh, finally! Lol.
     Blake Audited our class today. We did a lot of plating and we also made Molten Lava Cake. Yum! We also made some creme brulee. This whole day was mainly dedicated on plating, it was pretty fun, yet again, I was extreemely tired. I practiced my chocolate fans! I'm getting worse! Lol. I really need to work more on that too! Actually, I really want to work more on everything!
     After class, Blake and I went back to his appartement. I sorta talked to Kira today, she's really distancing herself away from everyone. Then, Blake and I went out to Taco Bell for dinner. Apres, we went to Borders at Santana Row and looked at the food section. Then we sat down and read some FML Stories. Lol! We're so random! We then walked and looked around at Anthropologie, then we went to LB Steak so he could meet with his Chefs again. We went through the back and it was the first time I'd ever been in a legit kitchen! Everyone's so friendly, Blake kinda stranded me by the door, but his chefs went up to me and introduced themselves, then they were like, "BLAKE! You left your GF!" Lol. I talked to Carlos for a bit, then I was dragged to the inside of the kitchen, where I guess "The Line" is at. Blaked talked to his Chefs, he looked so happy, I really wish they offered him a job there, he knows everyone in the kitchen, and he's so cool with everyone too.
     After LB, we went into Crate and Barrel! Yes! I friken love this store! I've always wanted to go into it and I finally did! Blake and I were talking about the furniture and If we ever moved in together, what we would HAVE to get and everything. Then we looked at a bunch of rugs; we decided that we're going to get a shag rug. It's so SOFT! After a while of wandering around, we then went to The Container Store. Love!!! Eventually, we made it to the best store ever, Sur La Table. We didn't buy anything though, just looked around and dreamt of buying things... So Expensive!!! After a while of sitting outside and chilling, we decided to go back to the apartement where Kira was still sitting on the chair and watching yet another movie... Eventually, I had to go home.
     I have a big day ahead of me! Gotta catch up on French, re write my trig notes, clean my room, wash Clover, clean the kitchen... and probably work on Tuiles, Caramel Paste or Chocolate. Bye!
